I just woke up :)

Man, eating chewing gum when you have braces is not a very wise thing to do. Just sharing. I'm currently chewing gum and I look like a fool trying to untangle gum from my braces. Silly me :D

I haven't been doing much lately. We have career awareness in the morning for 2 days and our fieldtrip is on friday so pretty much all I do when I get home is sleep. Yeeeaahhh... It's been good. Ang sarap matulog grabe. Sleeping is my friend, I could do it all day :D I have the great feeling that I'm going to be stressed after this week. We still have a lot of things to do I just choose not to do them yet. :D

Now, for football news, Real Madrid disappoint me more and more everyday. The Galactico era is officially over. Zidane retired, Figo left, Beckham and Ronaldo are leaving in June and Raul and Guti hardly play anymore (as to why, I don't know) When I watched their game last weekend I didn't recognize most of the players (they lost that game by the way). Atletico na lang :D Aupa Atleti!!! :D

On February 7, 2007, England and Spain will have a friendly game in Old Trafford (stadium of Manchester United). I hope they show the game here in the Philippines because that game is too good to miss. I just hope that the coach comes to his senses and puts Torres and Raul back in the National team.

That's all.

Movie poster ang dating :D

Peace Shouts

Our school fair had just wrapped up and I can proudly say that it is the first time I have never been caught by a booth of some sort. Well, probably because of the obvious lack of booths. Unlike before when the school was swarming with on-duty people just waiting to pounce ang get your money.

This year wasn't as boring as the previous year for me because we had Cluedo to keep us sane during those sleepy afternoons. We also checked out the Ferris Wheel which is called Chubibo in Filipino (ngayon ko lang nalaman na yun pala tawag dun in filipino) When I first saw the ride, I said that I would never ride it because it looked flimsy and it didn't seem thrilling. But then later on I decided to give it a try and man it was so cool. I ended up riding it twice. Chubibo is the bomb :D

I watched Baila dos since Fio agreed to pay for half of my ticket. It was great. Claret Hataw was great. Ang saya nila sumayaw :D

As for the "Hard Day's Night", never speak of it to me ever again. Pretend that it never happened. It was just... not good.

Band aid on the other hand never lets me down. Freefall started the event with songs from the past. They were great. The bands that joined the competition were great. The ones that I particularly liked were Nameless Heroes and Hansom. Disband was good but the throngs of screaming Claretians probably turned me off. Nameless Heroes was great, and to think that they're just a bunch of 13 and 14 year olds makes them even better. Hansom was great too. They were only 3 in the band but they still sounded great. Their guitarist/vocalist was great. Galing ng guitar solo thing niya and he had incredible stage presence. Add to that the fact that he looks good as well :D

Big bands that performed were Spongecola, 6 cycle mind, Callalily and Updharmadown. As I expected, 6 cycle mind and Callalily was just blah. Spongecola played great. Yael even jumped from the stage to the floor (which is quite high if you think about it) When he jumped you could see his manager and a bunch of other people running to see if he was okay. Yael wasn't as chatty as he was before. Probably ran out of things to say since they have been performing in our band aid since the year they won it. Updharmadown was good too. Natahimik nalang ako sa galing ng pagkanta ni Armi. It was just irritating because after their performance, I heard a batchmate of mine say that it was boring and made her sleepy. Psshh, di niya lang alam. Tignan natin kung kaya niya kumanta ng ganun.

As for other matters, Roger Federer won the Autsralian and he deserved it. Grabe, iba talaga as in. Napapa-woah nalang ako everytime naglalaro siya. Fernando Gonzalez was great too but iba talaga si Federer eh. On the Women's singles Serena Williams won. I don't know if I'm going to be happy or not because I already started to like Sharapova.

Well that's all. We don't have classes today so that's good. I started browsing for my prom dress yesterday. Found a lot of good ones in Sari Sari but we didn't buy one yet. My mom, being the bargain hunter that she is, said that we were still going to check out other places. So, wala pa rin akong prom dress. Hay buhay... :D

it's raining codes

It's exam week this week and we just finished the entrep, chem, media and health tests. I'm blogging now because we have no classes today (yeaboi!). Mamaya na ako mag-aaral

Because of the exams, I've been in a code making frenzy and I'm going mad. From "David Beckham Karina Torres" for the effects of death on the human body in health, "UBAS" for the stages of business planning in entrep, "more power dennis trillo" for the disadvantages of the internet in english, "Brandon doesn't party like me, come party people fernando torres" (sounds stupid i know :D) for the format of the business plan, "make william proud royal throne" for the formula of density in chem, and so many more. Yup, they sound stupid and they make no sense but that's why it works for me. I remember it because it's weird :D. To figure out what the codes mean, approach my favorite seatmate. She receives the full blown effect of my kababawans :D

On to more kababawans, (because it's exam week the list of kababawans gets longer. You know, with all the brain cells dying, i need some sort of release :D) Atletico Madrid had a game against Celta Vigo last Sunday. After having a draw in their last 2 games they finally won again! Yey! The game ended 3:1 and Torres scored 2 of Atleti's 3 goals (Yun yun eh :D). I saw highlights of the game and he was on a roll, you can just tell. :D

Now, on to David Beckham. A lot has happened since he announced his move to LA Galaxy. Coach Fabio Capello announced that even though Beckham still has 5 months in his contract he won't be allowed to play anymore since Capello thinks that he won't focus on the game anymore because he signed for another club. He's just going to train with the team until his contract with Real Madrid expires. And now the manager of the club, Ramon Calderon is bashing Beckham saying that he went to LA Galaxy because no other club in Europe wanted him. He said that Beckham is going to be some sort of Hollywood actor living in Hollywood (I agree). Oooohhh this is getting exciting :D Can't wait to see how everything unfolds :D

That's all. Thank you *bow*
wwwoooowww *drools* *falls off chair*

Poknat, nabubwisit ako..

Okay, so Beckham's hotness points totally sank so low upon knowing that he decided to leave Real Madrid and go to USA to join a Los Angeles club called LA Galaxy. Poknat naman ang jologs, ang corny ang stupid, lahat na! I think it's a BIG MISTAKE since Real Madrid is one of the biggest clubs and they were already offering him an extension even though he wasn't really playing that well. I think it's a big step down for him. Think about it, from Real Madrid, who are like big time players, to a club I have never even heard of. Well, I guess now I'll be hearing more about Major League Soccer since Beckham is there already, but I still prefer La Liga. I'm sure that he and Posh will fit in in Hollywood just fine. He just has to prepare for paparazzis and stuff like that. It's just that as a footballer, wala, jologs na siya as far as I know. Mag-model na lang siya. I'm so disappointed... I SO want to know the reasons why he wanted to leave. Stupid, stupid mistake...

That's all. I just wanted to vent my disappointment. I was finishing up (or should I say cramming) my media log and I was so sleepy, but when I read this it got me up. Medyo kumulo ang dugo ko ng onti. Naiinis talaga ako pramis.

I have to go, I still have to finish my conclusion then I'm done :D

Buti pa si Torres nasa La Liga pa rin :D

staying up until 4am to watch the live coverage :)

I'M WATCHING ATLETICO MADRID PLAY LIVE!!! It'now 3 in the morning and I was supposed to go to sleep already but then I switched the TV to Solar Sports and they were showing the game against Gimnastic de Tarrago live!!! Tumalon na naman ang puso ko! I hope they win this one. I have never seen them win. :D (As I'm writing this, Torres attempted to score a goal but he failed, it was close though. Galing talaga!)

I went to school yesterday for spotlight practice. Not a lot of people showed up. It was just me, Fio, Janine, Mel, Vinci, Cel, Kaye and Ate Charley. After the practice Fio and I went to SMF to watch Zsa Zsa Zaturhnah. Wala lang, natripan lang namin. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the film. I can definitely say that it was better than Enteng Kabisote. When Fiona and I went in the cinema the previous screening wasn't over yet so we just decided to wait in the cinema. When Fio and I saw the screen we started laughing like crazy. Apparently the movie was a musical and the scene we saw was rustom singing. Emeged, nakakatawa siya mehn. But as the movie progresses you get used to his singing. We laughed a lot throughout the movie. We were free to laugh as much as we wanted to because there were only a few people in the cinema. It was fun. :D

After that we just roamed around. Grabe naubos pera ko as in. It doesn't matter. It's not always that I splurge for myself. I bought the latest issue of Pulp magazine because Bamboo was the cover. It included a planner for this year with pictures of vocalists of some bands, and I like it. I'm not really gaga over the people in the planner (and I'm quite upset because Bamboo isn't in it) but the planner itself is nice. It's like my papemelroti calendar before so I can definitely use it.

That's all. I just make it a point that I blog when I watch a live game of Atletico. It's like, very rare that I'm able to watch games like these :D (As I write the last words of this entry Torres attempts another goal and failed but it was really close, again. Grabe, ang galing talaga :D)

Fernando Torres with his dad and his brother, Israel. Mukhang ampon si Torres, di sila magkakamukha. :D

Manigong Bagong Taon!!!

First of all,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! MAY THIS YEAR BE A GOOD ONE!!! :D

Well, we return to school tomorrow. Hay, it was good while it lasted. I got the much needed rest that I wanted. Alright, let's do this! Exams here I come! :D

Kababawan time! I'm watching the replay of the game between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona (Yep, still ogling at every close-up that Torres gets :D). I like this game. Not because Atletico played really well (because they didn't really, they could've played better) but because once again, Barcelona wasn't able to beat Atletico. Did you know that during the past 2 seasons of La Liga, Barcelona, the top club both in the world and in La Liga, haven't won against Atletico? And majority of those games, it was because of Torres' goals that they didn't win (yun yun eh :D) La lang, random La Liga fact.

I just watched my MMFF movie a while ago with my brother in SMF. I ended up watching Enteng Kabisote 3 since I heard that it won best picture. Yeah, it was funny but as a whole I didn't like it. It wasn't creative since it imitated a lot of effects from foreign movies (most specially Star Wars). It's just like Eat Bulaga but in movie format. Everyone in Eat Bulaga was given a role in this movie even if that scene wasn't really necessary. Okay, I'll stop here because it's starting to look like my HRR.

Okay, gotta go. I have to start my HRR and communication excercise :D

Torres' face is funny hihihi :)) parang nagpapa-kiss :D
